My first tute!

Happy Holidays, folks! May 2012 be a good one for you and bring you everything you want (unless you want something bad :))

One of the New Year resolutions I’ve made is to finally start processing and posting my tutorials. By now I have 37 tutorials recorded, would you believe that?! 🙂 I just never got the time (and will) to process them. Until now.

It was all too easy to teach in person, just open your mouth and move your hands :). And write a couple pages instructions. A tute requires to sit and think, as well as a lot of writing and picture processing.

Today I finished and posted my first tute called “Geek X-mas Tree Top Ornament”. See, I do try to keep my resolutions :). This one started as a desire to offer an alternative to a traditional star. In addition, my husband, Ken, as well as many other people I know, is totally into tech and geekery, so that was rather an obvious choice.  Also, I love to recycle, and this one uses recycled materials. How neat is that to turn something into a decor, rather than heading to your trash bin? 🙂

Now I’ve got to do a tute for Valentine’s Day. I have like 4 of those 🙂 Oh, man, where do I start? 🙂

My another resolution is to quit weighing as much. So, naturally, I got a bowl of cookies (and there’s still some Yule log left in the fridge) and started with the easier one, which is make tutes :).

What are your New Year’s resolutions and what do you do to keep them? Let me know in the comments below.
