I’ve participated in Christi Friesen first art swap themed as “Found Objects”. I’m very glad that I did :). Last night I received my treasure box, and the piece I’ve received is simply awesome! It is a necklace by Miranda Brooks of “Sea Monkey Cove Trading Co.” named “Swanny River”. Thank you very much, Miranda! I do really like your beautiful piece.

To me, it was like playing my favorite hidden object game! 🙂 Below is a photo reportage of the event:

Box of treasures – searching for a hidden object…

Yay! Hidden treasure found!

Treasure revealed. Wow! Just look at that!

Do you think there was only one hidden object in there? Wrong! Here’s another one – a lovely dragon. Christi sent a special molded dragon pin to all swap participants. Now, how cool is that? 🙂 Thank you, Christi!

And here’s both treasures together. Both of my found objects 🙂

And here’s the piece I submitted to the swap:

This is one of the types of my “Talking Fish” fridge magnets. Picture is from Christi’s website, www.cforiginals.net, lightly corrected by me. It is listed as “King of the Pond”, which was actually a piece I initially planned to send. Of course, I forgot to correct the swap form, thus the wrong name. Well, if nothing gets screwed, then you know it’s not me :).

Thank you, Christi, for hosting an awesome art swap! If there’s another one, count me in! 🙂 And thank you again, Miranda, for your beautiful creation!

Miranda! I’m sooo glad you had fun with the swap! It was really fun to see all the wonderful pieces come in, and try to put together good matches to go back out!

We’ll definitely do it again!

Dear Christi, thank you, I think you did an awesome job on the swap!
Only I’m not Miranda, my name is Anna :). Miranda is the person whose piece I’ve received.
