Hello, folks! Have you made that special gift for the Valentine’s Day – for a dear friend or your self? Well, if you didn’t, then, as one of my favorite TV show characters would have said: “You are in luck! Because now you can get a genuine…” (enter the right item’s name here). The item’s name is “tutorial”. A downloadable PDF named “True Love Pendant Necklace”. All for you, new and shiny, free until Sunday. After that, you will be able to get from one of our online stores for $7. So, if you want it FREE – then don’t wait till Sunday :).

How did it come to be this way?.. Well, I do LOVE trees. I’ve grown quite a few of them in my life – pines, birches, apple trees, oaks, pear trees, cherry trees, poplars, rowans, elms, linden trees… I love them all! Some I planted when I was only five, and now they’re four times taller than I! How’s that? 🙂

I do also love how polished wood looks – but I don’t cut down trees. Well, I’ve found that polymer more than successfully imitates wood grain pattern – and that’s what this project is all about! You will use mica properties of the clay to imitate wood grain and you will use backfill to imitate wood burning and carving.

Tree huggers, rejoice!

Here is the link to the video format of the project.

Update: here is the link to the tutorial in our online stores (requires registration).

Don’t like registration? Then get it here.

Happy creating!
